Pork Ribs Barbecue Sauce

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Cut the ribs into portions (every two bones) and place them in a baking dish.
  3. Cook for 45 minutes.
  4. Mix all the marinade ingredients: rum, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, sugar, garlic, and a pinch of chili powder.
  5. Drain the fat from the ribs and put them in a dish with the marinade.
  6. Marinate the meat for at least 2 hours or ideally, overnight.
  7. Take the ribs out of the marinade:
  8. Cook on the barbecue (or in the oven at 400 F for 20 minutes), basting regularly with the marinade.
  9. Serve with mashed potatoes or corn on the cob.
