Pork Ribs Barbecue Sauce
- 4 pounds pork ribs
- 3 3/8 tablespoons rum
- 3 1/3 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 15/16 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 3 3/8 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 garlic cloves smashed
- chili powder
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Cut the ribs into portions (every two bones) and place them in a baking dish.
- Cook for 45 minutes.
- Mix all the marinade ingredients: rum, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, sugar, garlic, and a pinch of chili powder.
- Drain the fat from the ribs and put them in a dish with the marinade.
- Marinate the meat for at least 2 hours or ideally, overnight.
- Take the ribs out of the marinade:
- Cook on the barbecue (or in the oven at 400 F for 20 minutes), basting regularly with the marinade.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or corn on the cob.
