Sweet And Sour Meatballs
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 c. cracker crumbs
- 1 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1 c. chopped onions
- 1/2 c. chopped green peppers
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 1/2 c. water
- 6 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 c. catsup
- 1 can chunk pineapple, drained
- 1 lb. small smoky links
- Combine hamburger, milk, cracker crumbs, salt and pepper.
- Mix well and shape into 1-inch balls.
- Place in 9 x 13-inch pan. Combine onions, green peppers, vinegar, water, sugar, Worcestershire sauce and catsup.
- Pour over meatballs.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 50 minutes or more.
- Turn meatballs a couple times during baking and spoon the sauce over them.
- Add pineapple and smoky links at end of baking time.
- Bake 10 minutes longer to reheat all. Serve in fondue dish or pan to be kept warm.
