Flourless Chocolate Cake With Berries

  1. Preheat oven to 180u0b0C (approximately 350u0b0F. Grease a round cake pan with butter and line with parchment paper.
  2. In a food processor, finely grind chocolate and sugar.
  3. Add hot water, butter, egg yolks, coffee, and vanilla.
  4. Pulse until smooth.
  5. In another bowl, beat egg whites until stiff and fold into chocolate mixture.
  6. Transfer batter to prepared cake pan and bake for about 45 minutes.
  7. Remove from pan and let cool before decorating.
  8. For the icing, beat heavy cream until stiff, add sugar, and beat a little again.
  9. Frost completely cooled cake with whipped cream.
  10. To serve, garnish with fresh fruit, to taste.
