Spaghetti With Clams And Roasted Peppers
- 1 onion large, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves sliced
- 2 tomatoes ripe
- white wine as needed
- 1 1/8 pounds clams author s suggestion: Vietnamese clams
- 2 peppers roasted
- noodles Spaghetti, as needed
- broccoli as needed
- 1 bunch parsley
- salt to taste
- Italian herb seasoning ground
- Begin by heating a splash of olive oil and sauteing the onion and garlic.
- Once the onion is translucent and soft, add the tomatoes and let the mix cook over medium-low heat.
- Lower the heat and add a splash of white wine (more can be added, according to preference).
- Add the clams, cover the pot, and shake while cooking over low heat until all the clams are open.
- Remove from the heat and set the mix aside.
