Simple Baked Tofu
- 12 ounces tofu extra-firm organic, drained well and patted dry
- 3 tablespoons coconut oil or EVOO
- 2 teaspoons orange juice freshly squeezed
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt unrefined
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- freshly ground black pepper optional
- Cut the tofu into medium-size pieces.
- In a bowl, whisk together the orange juice, 2 tablespoons of the coconut oil, sea salt and garlic.
- Place the tofu in the bowl and spoon the marinade over the tofu pieces.
- Cover and refrigerate or 1 hour.
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
- Coat a baking sheet with the rest of the coconut oil. Add the tofu to the baking sheet, in a single layer.
- Bake for 15 minutes. Flip the tofu and bake the other side until the tofu has a nice golden color.
