Bean Medley

  1. Wash and sort pinto and navy beans.
  2. Soak 8 hours or overnight.
  3. Saute onions, carrots and garlic in the white wine.
  4. Place drained beans in crockpot with sauteed vegetables, 6 cups of water, bouillon, parsley and liquid smoke.
  5. Cover and cook for at least 8 hours.
  6. Sort and rince split peas and lentils.
  7. Add peas, lentils and barley to crockpot.
  8. Cover and cook for at least 1 hour more.
  9. Season to taste.
