Chocolate Chip Cookies

  1. Process oats in a blender or food processor until ground like flour.
  2. Beat butter and sugars at medium speed with an electric mixer until fluffy.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla; beat until blended. Combine ground oats, flour, and next 3 ingredients.
  4. Add to butter mixture, beating until blended.
  5. Stir in chocolate and pecans. Drop dough by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
  6. Bake in batches at 375u0b0 for 8 to 10 minutes, or until light golden brown.
  7. Cool on racks.
