Cheesy Sausage Grits

  1. Turn Instant Pot on Saute setting. Cook Jimmy Dean(R) Premium Pork Sausage until no longer pink, breaking up sausage as it cooks.
  2. Turn Instant Pot off. Stir in stone ground grits, chicken broth, 1 cup milk, Ranch seasoning and garlic powder.
  3. Close lid, lock pot, select "Manual" setting and 10 minutes cooking time. Perform a natural pressure release for 10 minutes, then release quick release any remaining pressure.
  4. Stir in remaining 1/2 cup milk and cheese. Stir until cheese is melted. Check seasoning and add salt and/or pepper to taste.
  5. Serve immediately.
