Easy Apple Dessert

  1. Cut the apples in half, core, slice thinly and don't peel apples.
  2. Drop slices into a bowl of cold water.
  3. Set aside. Combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.
  4. Mix well. Beat the egg in a medium bowl.
  5. Stir in brown sugar, honey and vanilla.
  6. Blend in well drained apples and the flour mixture.
  7. Mix well.
  8. Fold in walnuts and raisins.
  9. Spread mixture evenly in a greased 9-inch pie plate.
  10. Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes.
  11. Serve hot, topped with French vanilla ice cream.
  12. Makes one 9-inch pie plate, 4 servings.
