End Zone Calzones
- 27 5/8 ounces pizza crust refrigerated
- 2 tablespoons promise buttery spread
- 1 orange bell pepper large, chopped
- 1 sweet onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil leaves thinly sliced, optional
- 10 ounces frozen broccoli chopped, partially thawed
- 2 cups low-fat cheddar cheese
- 1 tomatoes large, chopped
- Preheat oven to 425u0b0. Spray baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray; set aside.
- Unroll crusts and cut each into 4 squares. Reserve 2 tablespoons of cheese. Evenly divide cheese among the squares. Sprinkle each squares to within 1/2-inch of edges, then evenly top with vegetable mixture. Fold dough in half, sealing edges with fork. On prepared baking sheet, arrange calzones. Bake 12 minutes or until crusts are golden brown. Sprinkle with reserved cheese and bake an additional minute or until cheese is melted. Let rest, then cut each into 4 slices.
- In 12-inch nonstick skillet, melt Promise(R) Buttery Spread and cook orange pepper with onion, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes or until almost tender. Stir in garlic and cook 30 seconds. Add broccoli and tomato and cook, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes or until all liquid is evaporated and vegetables are very tender. Stir in basil; let cool slightly.
