Pancit(A Philippine Recipe)
- 1 to 2 lb. pork, cubed
- flour
- 4 cloves garlic or garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 c. water
- 4 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 4 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 lb. green beans, cut in strips
- 1 carrot, cut in strips
- 3 leaves cabbage, cut up
- 1 pkg. canton or Chinese noodles
- kalamansi or lemon wedges
- Dip pork in flour; brown in small amount of oil.
- Add salt, pepper and water.
- Cook until tender.
- Add soy sauce, vinegar, green beans, carrot and cabbage.
- Cook for 5 minutes, adding more water if needed.
- Add the noodles; stir constantly until heated through.
- Serve, garnished with kalamansi or lemon wedges to be squeezed on top, if desired.
