Round-Up Casserole

  1. In ungreased 2-quart casserole, place layer of rice.
  2. Sprinkle with 1 1/2 teaspoons salt and pepper.
  3. Pour in 1 can tomato sauce and hot water.
  4. Add layers of onion and green pepper, then a layer of ground beef.
  5. Sprinkle with 1 teaspoon salt.
  6. Top with layer of corn.
  7. Add chili powder to last can of tomato sauce; pour over corn.
  8. Top with bacon slices.
  9. Cover; bake for 1 hour.
  10. Uncover; bake for 15 minutes at 375u0b0.
  11. This may be made in 2 dishes and freeze one for later use.
