Cape Cake

  1. Grease a rectangular baking pan with butter and sprinkle with flour.
  2. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  3. In a bowl, mix sugar, eggs, lemon zest, oil, and yogurt. Beat well until it becomes a smooth mixture.
  4. Add the flour, cornstarch, and baking powder. Beat well again.
  5. Place the dough in the pan, and thoroughly coat with sugar and cinnamon.
  6. Bake for about 45 minutes.
  7. Check the cooking with a toothpick, remove from the oven, unmold, and let cool.
