Havarti Egg Sandwich With Sriracha Chili
- 1/2 baguette sliced half way through
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 slice havarti cheese Boars Head is always a good choice
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon chili Sriracha
- 1 handful veggies spring mix, washed
- 1. Spread butter on both sides of baguette, place havarti cheese slice inside, and place in an oven at 350 degrees. Bake until golden, or crispy.
- 2. Spread oil evenly on a frying pan, heat, and crack egg into pan to fry. (I like to fry my egg so that the center is not fully cooked. That way, when you bite into the sandwich, the yolk oozes out, and gives an extra burst of taste.)
- 3. Squeeze Sriracha on top of egg. Transfer egg to baguette.
- 4. Sprinkle spring mix veggies on top.
