Chocolate Milk Cupcakes With Creamy Peanut Butter Frosting
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup chocolate milk

- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup confectioner's sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- Preheat Oven 350 degrees:
- In a medium size bowl sift together the flour, baking powder and the salt and set aside.
- Using an electric mixer cream together the vanilla and the butter until creamy, gradually add the sugar to this mixture while creaming. Add the egg and continue to mix.
- Gradually add the chocolate milk and flour mixture alternating, while continuing to blend.
- Place in cup cake holders or well buttered cupcake tins.
- Bake 20-25 minutes or until toothpick test comes out clean. Baking time also depends on the size of the cupcakes.
- Creamy Peanut Butter Frosting:
- With an electric mixer cream the butter and peanut butter until smooth and creamy.
- Add the confectioner's sugar and continue to cream with the mixer. Add the milk and continue to cream until light and fluffy.
- Frost the cupcakes after they have cooled.
