Cheddar Chive Turkey Burgers
- 1 pound ground turkey breast lean
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons fresh chives finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley finely chopped
- 1 onion teapoon dried
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- sea salt
- freshly ground black pepper
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese grated
- green apple Sliced, optional
- 4 hamburger buns
- In a large bowl, combine turkey with vinegar herbs and seasonings and mix well. Form into 4-6 equal-sized patties.
- Coat a large skillet with nonstick cooking spray and cook the patties over medium heat for 3 to 4 minutes on one side. Flip burgers, top with cheese, and cook an additional 3-4 minutes or until the juices run clear.
- Serve immediately on your choice of bun or bread. Slices of green apple also make a lovely addition!
