Spicy Soy Meatballs

  1. Dice the onion very small & mince the garlic.
  2. Add all the ingredients above (except the vegetable oil) to a medium bowl including the onion and garlic & mix until everything is thoroughly combined.
  3. Take a tbsp of the mixture, with your hands press the mix between the palms of your hands molding it into a ball, place on a plate and repeat until all the mixture has gone, don't worry if the mixture is a bit soggy.
  4. In a small frying pan, pour the vegetable oil to around 1cm deep. The oil will be ready to fry in when you drop a tiny bit of the mix in and it comes up bubbling. Be very careful when frying and do not leave the oil unattended. Put a few balls in at a time and fry for around 1 minute before turning them over, each batch should only take 2-3 minutes.
  5. Put the fried balls on a plate lined with kitchen paper to absorb any excess grease.
  6. Repeat until all the balls are cooked.
