Lasagne(Low Calorie)
- 8 oz. extra lean ground beef
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1/3 c. tomato paste
- 1 1/2 c. tomatoes
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 4 oz. lasagna noodles, uncooked (2 c. cooked)
- 4 oz. Mozzarella cheese, grated
- 1 c. cottage cheese (1%)
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
- Brown ground beef and garlic in saucepan until redness disappears.
- Drain off excess fat.
- Add tomato paste, tomatoes and seasonings.
- Simmer for 20 minutes.
- Cook lasagne noodles.
- In a casserole dish, spread 1/3 meat, then 1/2 noodles, 1/2 Mozzarella cheese and cottage cheese.
- Repeat once and lastly top off with meat sauce.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Bake in a 350u0b0 oven for 30 minutes or cover with waxed paper for 20 minutes, rotating every 8 minutes.
- Serves 4.
