Chocolate Chip Cookies

  1. Preheat the oven to 375u0b0.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the margarine, sugars, vanilla and water.
  3. Beat the eggs.
  4. In another bowl, combine the flours, baking soda and salt.
  5. Gradually add this to the wet ingredients, blending well.
  6. Stir in the chocolate chips and the nuts.
  7. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto Teflon or ungreased baking sheets.
  8. Bake until golden brown, about 8 to 10 minutes.
  9. Yield:
  10. 3 dozen cookies, 2-inches in diameter.
