Chocolate Breadsticks

  1. Place all the ingredients, except the yeast and the chocolate, in the mixer bowl and turn on the mixer to begin kneading.
  2. After 7 minutes, add the yeast and the chocolate.
  3. Knead for a total of 15 minutes, increasing the speed in the last 4 minutes.
  4. Shape the dough into a loaf and let it rest, covered, for 30 to 40 minutes.
  5. Cut the loaf into small pieces and roll out each piece with your hands into breadsticks. Sprinkle the outside with some crushed coarse salt.
  6. Let the breadsticks rest for 20 minutes.
  7. Preheat the oven to 230C.
  8. Bake for approximately 10 minutes.
  9. Remove the breadsticks from the oven and cool.
