Savory Chocolate Breadsticks

  1. In a bowl, make a well, add the flour, water, yeast, salt, oil, malt, and cocoa powder. Mix together and beat for 8 to 10 minutes using a hand mixer. The mixture should not be too soft.
  2. Shape into a loaf and roll out to a rectangle. Brush with olive oil.
  3. Cover and allow to rise for 1 hour.
  4. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius.
  5. With a sharp knife, cut strips of dough from the short side of the rectangle about 1-inch thick.
  6. Gently roll into breadsticks by hand.
  7. Sprinkle with pink salt.
  8. Place on a baking sheet spaced apart.
  9. Bake for 15 minutes.
