Glazed Edamame
- edamame
- 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 2 garlic cloves finely chopped
- red pepper flakes
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons water
- 2 tablespoons mirin Japanese dressing
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons molasses sugar
- 1 teaspoon powdered ginger
- Mix the soy sauce, water, mirin, vinagre, sugar, and ginger.
- Put a large casserole on the stove and pour a sufficient amount of vegetable oil.
- Saute the garlic and red chilli pepper flakes.
- Add the sauce and let it sit until it begins to boil.
- Place the edamame into the casserole and stir it around for 1-2 minutes.
- Once this is done, the edamame is ready to be served. Any sauce that is left over can also be used as a dipping sauce
