Cardamom Butter Cookies
- 3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cardamom McCormick(R) Gourmet Collection, Ground
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon McCormick(R) Gourmet Collection, Saigon
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice McCormick(R) Gourmet Collection, Ground
- 1 cup butter softened
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon McCormick Pure Vanilla Extract
- Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and spices into large bowl. Set aside.
- Beat butter and sugar in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Gradually stir in flour mixture until well mixed. Refrigerate dough 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0F. Roll dough on lightly floured surface. Cut into shapes with cookie cutters. Place on ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on baking sheets 1 minute. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.
