Milky Way Cake(A Favorite At All Events!)
- 8 large or 16 snack size bars
- 1 1/4 c. sour cream
- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 4 eggs
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3/4 tsp. baking soda
- 3/4 c. Crisco (I use 1 stick margarine and 1/4 c. Crisco)
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. molasses
- 1 egg
- 2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. powdered ginger
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. butter
- 4 Tbsp. granulated sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. flour
- 2 c. ground pecans
- powdered sugar
- Grind pecans thoroughly in small batches in a chopper machine or blender.
- Cream butter by leaving at room temperature 1 hour or microwave on "2" for 1 minute.
