Backpack Cookies

  1. Cream the margarine, sugar and honey; add eggs, vanilla and baking soda.
  2. Stir in oats, flour and milk powder; blend thoroughly.
  3. Add raisins and nuts.
  4. Fold in bran flakes.
  5. Drop by tablespoons onto a lightly greased cookie sheet.
  6. Flatten slightly.
  7. Bake 12 minutes until edges are slightly browned. These cookies freeze well, travel well and are so healthy you can feed them to the kids for breakfast.
