Honey Glazed Chicken
- 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 3 lb. cut up chicken
- 1/4 c. hickory smoke barbecue sauce
- 1/4 c. butter, melted
- 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/4 c. honey
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- In a bowl or bag, combine flour, salt and pepper. Add chicken and coat all pieces well. Pour melted butter into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Place chicken, skin side up, in dish on top of butter; roll over once, with skin side up again. Bake, uncovered, at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes. Drain excess liquid, but do not leave totally dry. Combine rest of ingredients together and mix well. Pour over chicken and bake an additional 45 minutes. Baste with drippings in pan about every 10 minutes during cooking time. Serves 4 to 6.
