Chocolate Fondant Tart
- 1 tablespoon ground almonds plus more for sprinkling
- 1 3/16 cups dark chocolate at least 70 percent cacao
- 5/8 cup dark chocolate with orange
- 2 1/8 cups powdered sugar plus more for sprinkling
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter
- salt
- 5 medium eggs
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- Grease a 22-centimeter springform pan and sprinkle the bottom with ground almonds.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, place the chocolates, powdered sugar, butter, and a pinch of salt and microwave in 1-minute increments until melted.
- Beat the eggs with 1 tablespoon of ground almonds. Pour them into the chocolate mixture.
- Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 45 minutes until they take on the appearance of brownies.
- Once cooled, remove from the pan and decorate with a sprinkling of powdered sugar.
