Spicy Brownie (Gf)
- 1.5 sticks (175 g.) unsalted butter
- 1 cup sugar (any would work; I like my brownies not very sweet. You can add 1-3 tbsp more if you really want to)
- 3 medium-large eggs
- 1 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp cinnamon (can leave out, or put more, depending on preference)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp grounded black pepper
- ~~ Bowl
- ~~ 9-in * 13-in (22*33 cm) pan: greased, lined, or disposable
- Heat oven to 370F (180C), with the rack about in the middle.
- Melt butter and mix in sugar (or put them together in the microwave).
- Once the butter mixture cools down a bit, mix in eggs, one at a time.
- Add cocoa, cinnamon, salt and pepper, and mix until combined.
- Pour into a greased, lined, or disposable 9-in * 13-in (22*33 cm) pan. It'll be a thin layer, but that's alright.
- Bake at 370F (180C) for about 15-20 minutes, until top is no longer shiny, and your finger doesn't sink in when lightly pressing the top. I prefer mine to be on the under-baked side, so I take it out when there's still a little "give" when pressing.
