White Chocolate Chip-Macadamia Nut Cookies

  1. Sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt; set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, beat together the butter and shortening.
  3. Add sugars and beat until fluffy.
  4. Beat in egg and vanilla.
  5. Beat in dry ingredients.
  6. Add the white chocolate chips and Macadamia nuts.
  7. Mix until well blended.
  8. Drop cookie dough from rounded teaspoon onto greased baking sheet.
  9. Space about 2 1/2 inches apart.
  10. Flatten top of each cookie slightly.
  11. Bake in center of a preheated 375u0b0 oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly golden.
  12. Do not overbake.
  13. Remove from oven and let sit 5 minutes. With a spatula, move cookies to a wire rack to cool.
  14. Makes approximately 3 dozen.
