Homemade Cereal Bars

  1. Toast oats in oven for about 10 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Mix oat, almonds, pistachios, flax seeds, sesame seeds, chia seeds, and dried cranberries in a large bowl.
  3. In a small saucepan, mix maple syrup and peanut butter. The mixture should be warm and smooth. Add it to the cereal and nut mixture, mix well.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly with a spatula on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 1 1/2 to 2 hours, or in the freezer for 30 minutes.
  6. Remove from refrigerator and chop into even bars.
  7. Store in airtight container for a few days.
