Amy'S Christmas Flapjack

  1. Preheat over to 150u0b0c and grease a medium sized baking tin.
  2. Melt together the butter, dark brown sugar, golden syrup, and ginger syrup, stirring as the ingredients combine. Once bubbling and golden, remove from the heat and allow to cool until warm.
  3. Stir in the dry ingredients (oats, ginger, and mixed fruit in this recipe).
  4. Pour the mixture into the greased tin making sure the tin is filled to all edges and corners, then push down with the back of a spoon.
  5. Bake in the oven for 40 minutes, until golden and crispy on top.
  6. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 15 minutes before cutting into squares.
  7. When completely cooled, remove each flapjack from the tin.
  8. Melt the white chocolate, then drizzle over each flapjack and leave each to cool.
