Pepper Steak

  1. Brown meat slowly in butter.
  2. Add onion and garlic last few minutes.
  3. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Dissolve bouillon cube in hot water.
  5. Add to meat.
  6. Cover and simmer until almost tender. Add tomatoes and green pepper; cook 10 minutes.
  7. Now combine cornstarch, cold water and soy sauce.
  8. Stir into meat, bring to a boil and stir for 5 minutes.
  9. Remove garlic.
  10. Serve this over rice or noodles.
  11. Serves 6.
