Easy Lasagna
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 2 lbs. ground beef
- salt and pepper
- 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 2-3 tsp. basil leaves
- 2 cans (15 oz. each) tomato sauce
- 1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste
- 10 oz. lasagna noodles
- 2 containers (12 oz. each) creamed cottage cheese
- 1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs
- 3 pkg. (8 oz. each) Mozzarella cheese, sliced
- In heavy bottomed pot or Dutch oven, lightly brown onion sprinkled with garlic powder in oil.
- Add beef and brown.
- Add 1 teaspoon salt, dash of pepper, and the next four ingredients. Bring to a boil and simmer, uncovered for 30-40 minutes.
