Mushroom Puff Pastry Sliders

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry and cut out circles with a diameter of 5 centimeters. You can use a small glass to help cut out the circles.
  3. Baste the puff pastry circles with beaten egg, then sprinkle with oregano.
  4. Bake the puff pastry until golden and puffed.
  5. Remove the puff pastry and cut each ball in half with a serrated knife, to fill later.
  6. Separately, saute the diced shallot in a little olive oil.
  7. Once the shallot has softened, add the mushrooms and heat through for a few minutes. Salt to taste and add a pinch of thyme.
  8. Fill the puff pastries with this mushroom mixture to make a burger.
