Mushroom Puff Pastry Sliders
- puff pastry
- 1 egg beaten
- oregano
- 1 shallot diced
- olive oil for sauteing
- 7 ounces porcini mushrooms chopped
- salt
- thyme
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
- Roll out the puff pastry and cut out circles with a diameter of 5 centimeters. You can use a small glass to help cut out the circles.
- Baste the puff pastry circles with beaten egg, then sprinkle with oregano.
- Bake the puff pastry until golden and puffed.
- Remove the puff pastry and cut each ball in half with a serrated knife, to fill later.
- Separately, saute the diced shallot in a little olive oil.
- Once the shallot has softened, add the mushrooms and heat through for a few minutes. Salt to taste and add a pinch of thyme.
- Fill the puff pastries with this mushroom mixture to make a burger.
