Chicken And Rice Bake
- 4 c. cooked rice
- 4 c. cooked diced chicken
- 1/2 c. slivered almonds
- 1 slice onion, chopped (omit if you are going to freeze)
- 1 (8 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, defrosted
- 3/4 c. chopped celery
- 1 can cream of celery soup (do not dilute)
- 1 can cream of chicken soup (do not dilute)
- 1 c. Miracle Whip
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
- dash of salt
- 2 c. crushed potato chips
- paprika to sprinkle on top
- Combine first 7 ingredients and spread in baking dish. Combine soup, Miracle Whip, lemon juice and salt.
- Pour over chicken mixture and lightly stir.
- Sprinkle with chips and paprika.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 1 hour.
- Serves 12.
