Tuna Fish Dip
- onion 1 sm.
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley coarsely
- 2 teaspoons tarragon leaf
- 2 teaspoons vinegar
- 1 tablespoon horseradish
- clove garlic 1 sm.
- 2 cans fish 6 1/2 oz. each tuna, drained
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 3/4 cups mayonnaise
- 3 ounces cream cheese at room temp
- 1/4 cup blue cheese at room temp
- 1/4 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon curry powder or to taste
- salt
- freshly ground pepper to taste
- Cut onion into 4 pieces and put with parsley, tarragon, vinegar, horseradish, garlic, tuna fish and lemon juice into the food processor with steel blade.
- Process until mixed thoroughly.
- Spoon out into a 2 quart bowl.
- Add remaining ingredients to processor and process until smooth.
- Blend into tuna mixture in bowl.
- Add more curry powder and (or) salt and pepper to taste.
- Chill mixture overnight in refrigerator to thicken and blend flavors.
- Serve with assorted crackers.
- Makes 4 cups.
