Date, Coconut, And Spices Truffles

  1. Melt the coconut oil and cacao butter in a double boiler.
  2. Place in a food processor and add the dates and chop.
  3. Add the cocoa powder, cinnamon, vanilla seeds, and ras el hanout and puree until smooth.
  4. Spread the paste on a plate and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  5. Once chilled, divide into spoonful-sized portions. Shape into balls using your hands.
  6. Cover with cocoa powder.
  7. Store in the refrigerator, but leave at room temperature when about to serve.
