Homestyle Chicken And Sausage
- 4 medium size potatoes (1 1/2 lb.), cut into bite size pieces
- 1 lb. hot Italian sausage links, cut in 1 1/2-inch pieces
- 1 Tbsp. salad oil
- 1 (3 lb.) broiler fryer, cut up
- 4 medium size green or red peppers, cut in bite size pieces
- 1 large onion, cut in squares and separated
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen whole green beans
- In large open roasting pan, mix potatoes, sausage and salad oil.
- Bake 15 minutes.
- Add chicken pieces and next five ingredients; toss to mix with ingredients in pan.
- Bake 15 minutes.
- Separate green beans under warm running water.
- Drain. Sprinkle over chicken mixture.
- Bake 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until chicken and vegetables are tender.
