Christmas Salad

  1. Drain pineapple and use juice with 1 1/2 cups of water; should equal 2 cups, if not add a

  3. more
  4. water.
  5. Heat half
  6. of the liquid to boiling; addtelatin,
  7. stirring
  8. until dissolved. Mix salad dressing and cottage cheese; slowly stir it
  9. into
  10. the gelatin mixture.
  11. Add
  12. pineapple,
  13. nuts,
  14. cherry halves and the other cup of liquid.
  15. Mix
  16. well.
  17. Pour
  18. into
  19. a flat
  20. 9
  21. x 13 x 2-inch pan.
  22. Chilltntil
  23. congealed.
  24. Cuttn squares.
  25. Serve on lettuce leaf with mayonnaise
  26. and
  27. a cherry half.
