Beef Stir-Fry

  1. Marinate sirloin in 1 teaspoon cornstarch, sherry, soy sauce, sugar, 1/2 teaspoon oil, pepper and garlic for 1 hour.
  2. Heat in remaining oil in wok on high.
  3. Stir-fry meat.
  4. Remove.
  5. Mix remaining starch with oyster sauce.
  6. Stir-fry broccoli and carrots for 30 seconds; add broth.
  7. Cover wok and steam for 1 minute or until vegetables are tender but retain crunch.
  8. Add corn, peas, scallion, beef and sauce mix.
  9. Heat until clear and thickened. Makes 4 servings.
