Pork Stroganoff
- 3/4 pound pork chops thin
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion medium, diced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 tomato crushed
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 tablespoon chicken bouillon powder
- 1 green bell pepper diced
- 2 1/16 cups mushrooms sliced
- 1 pinch ground nutmeg
- 2 tablespoons light cream
- Cut the pork chop into strips 1 centimeter wide. Cook the pork, onion, and garlic together in the olive oil, stirring occasionally. Cook for 4-5 minutes, until the pork begins to brown.
- Add the flour and tomato, stir well, and add the water and bouillon.
- Add the pepper, mushrooms, and nutmeg. Let come to a boil, lower the heat, and simmer for 20 minutes, with the pan covered.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly. Add the cream, stir to incorporate, and serve.
