Sesame Biscuits
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup sesame seeds
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 egg whisked until frothy
- Preheat oven to 350 Degrees F
- Grease a baking sheet well, or line a baking sheet with baking paper
- In a large bowl, mix together the almond flour, salt sesame seeds, eggs and oil
- It will form a thick dough so may need your hands to give it a good mix
- Divide the dough in half
- Place half of the dough on a sheet of baking paper and place another sheet over the top
- Using a rolling pin, roll the dough over the paper until it is about 2 - 3 mm thick. The paper is not essential but it makes it a lot easier to roll out.
- Once it is as thin as possible, remove the top layer of the paper and slide it onto the baking tray.
- Using a knife or a pizza slicer, slice the dough into 6cm squares
- Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown
- Repeat with the other half of the dough
