Eid Dessert (Kleicha/ Klaicha) Iraq Origin ( Mamoul In Syria/Lebanon)

  1. Pre-heat oven at 170 degree centigrade
  2. Sift the sugar and sugar in mixing bowl
  3. Now add butter to it and mix well to make a smooth mixture
  4. Add water to this mixture and knead well
  5. Keep aside for 30 minutes.
  6. Now chop the dates and heat with butter in a separate pan till dates soft.
  7. Make small balls of dough and fill the date filling to it.
  8. Make kleicha/Mamoul like shape by hand or using a mould.
  9. Bake in oven for 30-35 minutes.
  10. Cool on tray and then serve.
