Aunt Diane'S Mushroom Piroshkies!
- 1/2 cup onion finely chopped
- 1/4 cup butter
- 8 ounces fresh mushrooms finely chopped
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 egg yolk hard cooked
- 1 package Pillsbury Pie Crust Mix
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- In medium skillet, saute the ontions in the butter until just tender.
- Add mushrooms and saute for 3 mnutes...
- Stir in salt, pepper and egg yolk.
- Cool.
- Heat overn to 400.
- In medium bowl, combine sour cream and pie crusts mix until a ball forms.
- Divide in half and roll 1/2 at a time to 1/8 inch thickness on a lightly floured surface.
- Cut in 3 inch rounds with a cookie cutter (or water goblet).
- Place 1 tsp. filling in the middle of circle.
- Moisten the edges iwth a dab of water and fold edges over.
- Press edges all around with tines of a fork. Keep going.
- Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown.
