Herb Marinated Pork Chops
- 5 pork chops or Pork Tenderloin, Bone in or Boneless, whatever tickles your fancy
- 4 tablespoons olive oil divided
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Place your pork chops in a ziploc bag.
- Mix together 3 Tbsp olive oil and the rest of the ingredients.
- Pour over the pork chops and close.
- Shake the bag up to make sure the pork is throughly covered.
- Refrigerate for 3-4 hours.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Place the remaining Tbsp of olive oil in the pan and heat over medium heat.
- Sear both sides of the pork chops and place in a baking dish.
- Pour about 1/2-1 cup water in with the pork chops so the water reaches half way up the meat.
- Place in the oven and bake for 45-50 minutes, until a thermometer reaches 170 degrees.
