Raspberry Baked Brie
- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry thawed
- 8 ounces brie cheese round wheel
- 1/4 cup Smucker's(R) Natural Red Raspberry Fruit Spread
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon water
- crackers Assorted
- pear slices
- HEAT oven to 400u0b0F. Unfold pastry on lightly floured surface. Roll gently to seal any cracks in pastry.
- SLICE cheese in half horizontally. Spread preserves on cut side of bottom half of cheese. Sprinkle with almonds. Cover with top half of cheese, cut side down. Place on center of pastry.
- FOLD pastry up and over cheese to cover. Trim excess pastry; press to seal seams. Reserve pastry scraps.
- WHISK egg and water in small bowl. Brush seams with egg mixture. Place seam-side down on baking sheet. Cut pastry scraps into decorative shapes and arrange on top. Brush with egg mixture.
- BAKE 25 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand 20 minutes before cutting. Serve with crackers and fruit.
