Linda'S Refrigerator Hot Sauce
- 5 large cans tomatoes
- 2 medium onions, chopped very fine (use food processor if you have one)
- 8 Serrano peppers, chopped very fine
- 1/2 (14 oz.) jar Clemente Jacque jalapenos, chopped very fine
- 1 Tbsp. garlic salt
- 2 Tbsp. Lawry's seasoning salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar (optional; will help sauce last longer. I don't use)
- Drain all but 1 can of the tomatoes.
- Put in blender, one can at a time.
- Be careful not to blend too long.
- Just process until tomatoes are fine cut/not mushy.
- Pour into large bowl.
- Add the onions to the tomato mixture.
- Add the Serrano peppers to the tomato mixture (will find these in produce section).
- Add the jalapenos to the mixture.
- Add the remaining ingredients.
- Stir all until well mixed.
- Spoon into containers, 7 to 8 pint jars.
- Must refrigerate.
- This is not a "canned" recipe.
