Kibbeh Bel Sannieyh (Meat Pie With Bulgur)

  1. Soak bulgur with water, and set aside (At least 15 minutes).
  2. Heat a skillet on the stove, and add olive oil.
  3. Chop one onion, and add it to the skillet.
  4. Saute it on medium heat for 2 minutes, and add the half lb meat. (Also add nuts at this step).
  5. let it on the stove until its done.
  6. Now chop the other onion, in a food processor, or meat grinder.
  7. Add bulgur, mix them together in your gadget.
  8. Add 1 lb of meat, and let the gadget do the work. keep mixing until it becomes like dough
  9. Butter a baking dish, or add nonstick oil
  10. Put a layer of meat dough.
  11. Add the cooked meat
  12. Put another layer of the meat dough, you can also add extra nuts at this step.
  13. Bake it in the oven for 25 minutes.
  14. Get it out from the oven, make diamond shapes, so we can guarantee that meat is well done.
  15. Return it to the stove for another 25 minutes or until its done.
  16. While the kibbeh is baking, make the salad,
  17. Dice everything in small pieces. Drizzle it with olive oil, lemon juice, and a dash of salt.
  18. Serve it hot with yogurt or fresh salad.
