Swedish Meat Loaf
- 1/4 lb. lean ground beef
- 3/4 lb. ground pork
- 1/2 c. fresh bread crumbs
- 1 medium onion, minced
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1 tsp. prepared mustard
- 1/4 tsp. prepared horseradish
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 pork sausage link (4 oz.)
- 1 Tbsp. browning sauce
- 1 Tbsp. water
- In large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, pork, bread crumbs, onion, eggs, milk, mustard, horseradish, salt and pepper.
- Mix well.
- Place half the meat mixture in a 9 X 5 inch microproof loaf pan.
- Place the sausage link in center of meat mixture.
- Cover with remaining meat mixture.
- Stir together browning sauce and water.
- Pour over top of meat loaf.
- Cook on HI for 14-18 minutes. 4 servings.
- Total cooking time:
- 14-18 minutes.
