Harvest Loaf Bread
- 2 cups canned pumpkin puree
- 4 eggs beaten
- 1 cup oil
- 2/3 cup cold water
- 3 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 3 cups sugar
- 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
- 1 grated nutmeg dsh Fresh
- 1 ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour three 8 inch loaf pans.
- Combine first four ingredients in a lg bowl. Mix the dry ingredients and add to the first mixture, stir well. Fold in the nuts, and chocolate chips.
- Turn into the prepared pans and bake for 50 to 60 mins or until a cake tester comes out clean. Cool in pans for 10 mins. Remove and cool on wire racks. This is a sweet bread which is nice for gifts.
